What is RAG?
RAG (retrieval-augmented generation) first finds your material related to a question, then has the AI answer from that evidence. It cuts down on plausible-sounding made-up answers and makes the source of each answer clear.
What material can RAG be built on?
Internal documents, work manuals, policies, product specs and guides, and the Q&As you have built up over time.
What if the answer isn't in the material?
When evidence is lacking, it says it doesn't know or hands off to a person. The rule is to answer only from evidence it finds.
